Who we are
In Fieri Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
For questions about your information or to exercise your data protection rights, contact Howard Murray at howard@infieri.co.uk.
This policy covers information collected through infieri.co.uk, enquiries, introductory bookings and related correspondence. Separate information may be provided for client engagements where necessary.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, message and any other information you choose to provide.
When you book a conversation through Google Calendar, we collect your name, email address, appointment details and any additional information you provide during booking or related correspondence.
Our website services may collect technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referral source and interactions with the website.
Please avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential information about other people in an initial enquiry.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry and booking information to respond to you, arrange conversations, understand your requirements and discuss possible services.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating our advisory business. Where processing is necessary to take steps you request before entering into a contract, or to fulfil a contract with you, we rely on that basis instead.
We may also retain information where necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where consent is required for optional cookies or similar technologies, consent is the applicable basis. You can withdraw consent without affecting processing that took place beforehand.
Providing information is voluntary. However, we need sufficient contact details to reply to an enquiry or arrange an appointment.
Services that handle information
We use:
-
Wix to host the website, receive form submissions and provide website administration and analytics.
-
Google Workspace for business email, calendar appointments and related communications.
-
Google’s booking service when you arrange a conversation.
-
A Google Tag integration configured on the website.
These providers may process information on our behalf. They may also process certain information for their own purposes under their privacy notices.
We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Cookies and website analytics
The website uses cookies and similar technologies associated with Wix, its analytics features and embedded Google content.
Some technologies support website operation and security. Others may support measurement, preferences or third-party features.
Google Analytics to help us understand website use.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect website features. The direct Google booking page provides an alternative to the embedded calendar.
Where information is processed
Wix and Google operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the United Kingdom.
[DRAFT CHECK: Confirm the transfer arrangements applicable to these accounts. Specify the relevant adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards, and how a person can obtain information about those safeguards.]
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
For enquiries that do not lead to an engagement, we review whether information is still needed, considering the status of the enquiry, any agreed follow-up and any genuine need to retain a record. Information that is no longer needed is deleted.
Where an enquiry leads to an engagement, relevant correspondence becomes part of the client record. Retention then depends on the engagement, applicable legal obligations and any need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict its use or receive certain information in a portable format.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. To make a request, email howard@infieri.co.uk.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
